"Ma’ayan’s unique voice and music style is too big to fit in a box- an eclectic blend of electro- pop- dub- and rock flavors, she's like a hot young FEMALE VERSION of STING or if SADE fronted THE BLACK EYED PEAS!!! Born in Israel and raised in the States, her influences range from the world over. Now a talented songwriter and performer, Ma’ayan met songwriters/producers Leo Mellace and Steve Catizone at Sanctum Sound in Boston, while attending Berklee College of Music. This led to their collaboration on the EP “Walk On Water” in '08, mixed by Rich Travali (Jennifer Hudson, Robin Thicke, and mastered by Chris Gehringer ( Jason Mraz, Madonna, Chris Cornell). The trio has been busy in the studio as of late writing and recording new material! Ma’ayan’s electric live show features a killer lineup; Leo Mellace (Wyclef, NKOTB) as musical director/guitarist & Charles Haynes on drums (Kanye West, Meshelle Ndegeocello, MIA) among others.
